In today's update (v 0.162.0) to Paradigm brings fresh improvements to elevate your trading experience:

Per-venue maintenance

Paradigm can now put a single venue into maintenance while all other venues keep trading.

What's changed

• platform_state (REST and WS, DRFQv2 and OB) has a new venue_maintenance field. It lists each venue under maintenance with its state, for example {"DBT": "AVAILABLE_CANCEL_ONLY"}, and is empty ({}) when every venue is available. Updates arrive on the existing platform_state channel.
• On a listed venue, new RFQs, orders and quotes are rejected, including replaces, with the new error code 3007 (HTTP 503). Cancels and GET requests always work.

What you need to do

1. Allow the new field if you validate platform_state strictly.
2. Pause RFQs and quoting on venues listed in venue_maintenance, and resume when they drop out of it. Each message carries the full map, so replace what you hold rather than merging into it.
3. Treat 3007 as temporary and retry once the venue is available.

Note: Resting quotes and orders on the venue may be cancelled during venue maintenance, with reason MAINTENANCE.
